DIY cheap & easy body scrub

DIY cheap & easy body scrub

2 ingredient skin scrub

This is the scrub I use all year long!  In the winter, it helps combat dry skin, and in the summer I use it before shaving for extra smooth skin.  It also combats razor burn on your bikini line.  A word of caution:  if you shave the places inside your bathing suit, don’t use this there!  Epsom salt in your lady bits would definitely sting!!

All you need to make this scrub is Epsom salt and baby oil.  Use 2 parts Epsom salts to 1 part baby oil.  Add some essential oils if you want it smell good.

My technique for using this while shaving is this: soap up, rinse, then use a generous amount of scrub all over.  Be careful, this makes the shower floor slippery! Use shaving cream and shave.  Rinse off, towel off, and moisturize.  And Voila! Crazy smooth and soft skin!

I made the label using a downloadable template I got from Call Me Victorian.  If you like the one I made, you can download the PDF here!  After I glued it on,  I taped off the jar leaving just the label showing and sprayed it with 2 coats of polycrylic.  I didn’t want it to run in the shower.  Yes, I know, I’m a little crazy like that.

Use 2 cups Epsom salts to 1/2 to 1 cup baby oil or any oil like olive oil, veggie or almond.start out by adding oil in small amounts if you do use an essential oils try using only one or two drops at a time…… less is more
